Luz and Cecilio have been serving North Charleston locals and visitors for the last 15 years. Luz is from the Philippine province of Pampanga, renown for their good cooking. She has brought this unique culinary viewpoint to Charleston, mixing her native cuisine with American Southern fare. For breakfast many of the locals might request the shrimp and grits, or an omelet with garlic rice on the side. Her clientele has gotten to know her as she hand rolls thousands of eggrolls just behind the bar. If you stop in, you might see this.
Luz loves seafood, so this is a place to take advantage of the fresh seafood that arrives in the port of Charleston without the big tourist mark-up. Get grilled cod or bluefish when in season or have a platter of Cajun shrimp and steak. If you just want the basics you can get an eggs-over-easy, hamburger and fries or a great prime rib dinner. Don''t forget if you want to find out what''s really going on, talk to Cecil at the bar. Located near the Charleston International Airport. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with a full bar.
